💡 How This Works

1

📤 Upload & Auto-Compare

Upload your current week's demand report (e.g., CW42). The system automatically finds and downloads the previous week's file (CW41) from S3, then compares all records by Demand Item ID to show you exactly what changed: New, Modified, Removed, and Unchanged records.

2

📊 Review Changes

See detailed changes grouped by Engagement ID (EID). View field-level differences including Quantity, Availability Zone, Instance Type, Region, and more. Understand the delta for each change with clear before/after comparisons.

3

🚀 Generate MaitreD CSVs

Click "Process New & Modified Records" to generate capacity reservation files. The system:

  • Loads the AZ mapping table from S3
  • Performs automatic AZ mapping:
    • HA="X": Uses Secondary AZ Code (for high availability)
    • HA≠"X": Uses Primary AZ Code (for standard deployments)
  • Validates all data (Account ID, Instance Type, Quantity, Build Start Date, etc.)
  • Generates MaitreD-compatible CSV files grouped by EID
  • Uploads files to S3 and provides download links (valid for 24 hours)

📖 Key Terms
